,Greetings

Are you without a Doctor?

So many of you no longer have a family Doctor. Did you know that Physiotherapists are primary health care providers? This means you don't need a referral to come see us, although some private health plans still require one for coverage. So if you have injured yourself or are dealing with body pain, you don't necessarily need to wait to have it addressed or to try your luck at a walk in clinic! The sooner you start treatment the sooner you can get back to what you love doing. Call us!

Emily Cook RMT, Acupuncturist is offering ACUPUNCTURE services now to our clients. While physiotherapists at Bedford-Sackville Physio use anatomical acupuncture, Emily provides a more traditional Chinese medicine approach.  Acupuncture is an effective way to reduce pain, relax muscles and rebalance your energy to achieve good health and is covered by most medical plans.

In this newsletter, we are discussing the use of Braces for Injuries, Sports, and General Activities

Braces are supportive devices that are beneficial for acute and chronic issues. The use of braces also helps prevent injuries or further tissue damage. Physiotherapists frequently recommend braces for added support. Stabilizing a joint with a brace lessens pain by relieving tension and movement as the body heals. Bracing for a joint also helps a condition from progressing faster, such as osteoarthritis.
